Attention Cavers

As recommended by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Conservation Halton is asking the public to refrain from entering caves to prevent the possible transmission of White Nose Syndrome.

White Nose Syndrome is linked to the death of bats in the northeastern United States. Symptons have begun to appear in bats in Ontario. There is no known human health risk associated with White Nose Syndrome. This is effective until further notice.
